Our Cheesy Date!

The weather in Tulsa is changing...fall is in the air.  My favorite time of year :) So, Jeff and I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous Saturday we had last week.  I really wanted to go apple picking, but when I called a place where you can pick your own apples, they told me we have to wait 2-3 weeks.  I will wait patiently...the weather will only be getting more beautiful!  Instead of apple picking we drove(with windows rolled down and my hair blowing...Jeff's doesn't blow :) to Chouteau, OK to check out the Amish Cheese House! All I can say is YUMMY! My taste buds experienced so many wonderful things.  We sampled a chocolate chip cheese ball, fudge, and fresh peanut butter.  I was hoping we could buy some goodies, after all we drove 40 min to get there.  We just looked around first, but it didn't take long before JEFF* grabbed a cart and started picking out stuff.  My heart was happy.  We took home fresh peanut butter, pineapple salsa, apple butter, CHOCOLATE CHEESE BALL ;), a sample bag of different cheeses,  birch brew and sarsaparilla, and fresh churned butter! Is your mouth watering yet? It was a lovely time and a beautiful day with my cheesy date.  I hope to go back soon.
