Jeff took a contract job in San Diego working on the Point Loma Navy Base for three weeks. It was such a great opportunity he couldn't pass it up. All expenses paid minus my plane ticket. So, Jeff and I headed west on Southwest Airlines. We arrived in San Diego, checked into the hotel only to find that the Holiday Inn was NASTY! We have stayed in Holiday Inn's before and never experienced NASTY! Oh well, we endured for one night. I tried to shower in that hotel, but I just couldn't. The mold and crusty shower head just grossed me out. This is when I am very familiar with my OCD. Thanks Grandpa Albaeck for the gene LOL :)
The only good thing about that hotel is that we had visitors as soon as we arrived. The boys (who BTW grew inches in the two months since they left Tulsa) ran into our arms and gave us big hugs and kisses...I love those boys! They especially loved being with Uncle Giraffe :) The first night in town we just hung out at the MacCulloch's home. They have a really nice place...very cozy! We have been gone now for almost weeks now. I have taken many pictures so their will be more blogs to come!
